I got this great idea from Family Fun Magazine for bark paintings. It is suppose to imitate a type of Mexican painting done on bark paper. This craft was suggested for Cinco de Mayo, but we are just getting around to it now. Better late than never!This is a great activity to recycle those paper grocery bags. That is - if you have any since most of us are going green these days, bringing our own cloth bags along to the store. *whistle*

They turned out really nice. My guess is that first one is momma's (very artsy by the way)and the last one was Owen's.
